We understand that as you get older, your physical needs change and you want advice from professionals who are aware of what that entails. The health professionals at THRIVE are experts in understanding the particular requirements of working out when you’re 60 or older.

Our facility uses HUR exercise equipment, the technology leader in equipment for exercises, rehabilitation and wellness for the over 60s population.

Our physiotherapists and exercise physiologists have special interest in working with clients of older demographics, and we really do believe that getting older is not a barrier to a life of health and independence, whatever your age. We will help you get the most out of your exercise and improve your ability to move.

If you have ancillary or extras cover this usually includes the services provided by physiotherapists and exercise physiologists. Benefits are determined by individual insurers and vary depending upon whether the services you choose are provided 1:1 or are part of a group delivery.

We have access to HICAPS refund services for a number of Private Health Insurers so that you can claim for some treatment options at the time of service. In other cases, we will provide an itemised invoice that will allow you to claim from your insurer.

THRIVE does not bulk-bill for Medicare related services. We may be able to directly claim the Medicare benefit on your behalf and have the scheduled rebate credited to your Medicare linked bank account. Otherwise we can issue you with a receipt.

Your CDM referral can be used for a 1:1 consultation with a physiotherapist or an exercise physiologist. This referral can be valid for up to 5 visits.

Get in touch with us using the “Contact us” page and we will be happy to find out more about your relative and how we can best work with them to improve their movement and independence.

Absolutely – Speak with your GP, he or she will be able to write a referral to authorise you to receiving therapy utilising the DVA benefits scheme.
